The GO Plan

Our Vision

A movement of every member going to serve and reach others by 2020.

More specifically, our desire is to infuse an Acts 1:8 culture of obedience and action by equipping each member to GO and sacrificially serve and reach others resulting in new disciples, churches, sending groups and people movements.

Our End Vision

By December 31, 2020, we are trusting the Lord for the following to take place:

  • Immanuel is effectively engaging 50 people groups and urban centers across our city, nation and world through strategic evangelism, service projects, church planting and leadership development.
  • More than 10,000 people each year are hearing the Gospel message (many for the first time) as a direct result of Immanuel GO Teams and partnership efforts.
  • 50 coalitions have been established and are engaging these people groups / urban centers. Each coalition consists of a Strategy Leader, Roundtable, Onsite Strategy Partner and ABF group.
  • Each GO Team operates as a direct extension of the work of the coalition and has a clear purpose, strategy and people group or urban center on which to focus efforts.
  • Every member is involved in at least one GO opportunity through praying, giving and going.
  • The GO Course is offered in 12 different locations, led by strategy leaders and staff members, and equipping and training more than 200 adult members each year.
  • Immanuel has sent 100 members into full-time service through various mission agencies.
  • Church members are afflicted with a vision for the nations and are designating $1,000,000 each year to both seasonal and designated GO offerings each year.
  • In each people group, urban center and partnership, disciples are being made, leaders are being trained, new churches are being started and cross-cultural workers are being trained and sent to other unreached peoples. All for His glory!
